Lying woman by ~mickey03 is breathtaking. The chaotic, heavy impasto gives dynamic tension to the utterly still expression of the figure, bringing to mind the Death Portraits of the nineteenth century. (Featured by `stigmatattoo)

this is so beautiful! daubs are so rich. I love the tones and how her face is 'highlighted' by being cleaner than the rest of the image. the whites are gossamerlike and add such a nice touch of delicacy.
